Groundswell Community
Mural Project: May 2012
Dear Duane
800 young people.
19 New York City neighborhoods.
27 works of public art.
We are pleased to share Groundswell’s
FY11 Annual Report, highlighting the remarkable
range of opportunities for young people and public
art projects made possible thanks to generous supporters like you.
As we once again get ready to kick off our flagship
Summer Leadership Institute, we invite you now to support
our effort to raise scholarship funds for our teen participants
Together, we will employ 100 teens in a work experience
unlike any other and complete seven extraordinary murals
like those featured in our Annual Report.
Your continued engagement with Groundswell makes
a tremendous difference in the lives of these young people
Thank you.
Sincerely,
David Goldstein
Board Chair
Amy Sananman
Executive Director
P.S. Our work is not possible without your support
Please make your gift by June 15 and help us ensure
as many jobs as possible for the many talented
young people hoping to work with us this summer.
